What are the best iMRS Prime settings to use?

If you are considering buying the new iMRS Prime PEMF therapy device, you probably have a few questions about how to get started and the best iMRS Prime settings to use. If you are already an established user, we hope you find this useful too.

PEMF therapy is about the cell, not the condition…

A question I am often asked is “Which health conditions can PEMF therapy help with?”

In answer to this question I say “PEMF therapy does not target a specific condition or symptom, it targets the cells within your body. This way, PEMF therapy can help various conditions because your cells make up the tissues and organs of your body, from which all conditions arise. And, if your cells are able to produce more energy, absorb more nutrients and remove waste more effectively, your body is better able to heal itself. This can result in less symptoms and increased control of the health conditions you may have.”

Getting Started with the iMRS Prime

Setting Up

The iMRS Prime set up process is very straightforward and it should take you approximately 10 minutes to get started. We have divided this into a simple five step process as follows:

1. Unpack the iMRS Prime: Begin by unpacking the brushed aluminium control unit and connector box. Then unpack the black 20 pin connector cable. Next unpack the iMRS Prime power pack and the appropriate power plug (depending on your region). Lastly unpack all the iMRS applicators and any accessories included (this will depend on the iMRS Prime model you have purchased).

2. Connect the system: Begin by plugging the black 20pin cable into both the control unit and the connector box (this will be labelled ‘Control Unit’). Next connect the power plug to the power pack. Lastly, connect power cable to the connector box (using the socket labelled ‘Power’ on the connector box).

3. Connect the PEMF applicators and any accessories to the connector box. The applicators can be connected to the three sockets labelled either ‘Applicators – RIGHT or Applicators – LEFT’. The applicator plugs should click into place forming a snug connection. Lastly, if you have either the ‘Exagon Sense’ or ‘Exagon Brain’ accessories, these can be connected their appropriate sockets which are labelled with the accessory name plus either ‘LEFT’ or ’RIGHT’.

4. Switch on the system: Once you have switched on the power at the mains, the iMRS Prime control unit can be activated using the power button located at the bottom of the right side of the unit. The display will then take a few moments to load and take you to the contraindications screen. Please take note of this message. From here you can press ‘Start’ displayed on the screen to open the hexagon themed iMRS Prime menu screen.

5. Navigating the iMRS Prime display screen: The iMRS Prime menu is exceptionally easy to navigate and there are various options to choose from. From here access the ‘Settings’ menu icon by clicking on the cogwheel mood icon in the top right of the display screen. Then access the ‘Manual’ (top right) option to view the integrated iMRS Prime manual, which will provide further detailed instructions for your iMRS Prime set up and appropriate use.

Please make sure to read the iMRS Prime manual before you first use the iMRS Prime system.

Introduction to PEMF Therapy

Low level PEMF therapy works with your body, not against it, and so is perfectly suited for long term daily use. Therefore, establishing a habit of regular daily sessions with the iMRS Prime system is particularly important. For many people, two daily body mat sessions are a great place to start.

As a general rule, I suggest using the iMRS Prime before 9am in the morning, and then again last thing at night just prior to sleep. This way, your PEMF therapy sessions can help energise you in the morning, and then prepare you for deep restorative sleep at night. I also suggest to always use the mat first to help improve body-wide cell function and communication, before applying a local applicator to the area in need of further attention.

PEMF therapy works best if your tissues are hydrated so aim to drink two litres of good quality water each day, including 1-2 glasses 15-30 minutes before each session. The effects of each iMRS Prime PEMF therapy session lasts approximately 4-6 hours, so three daily sessions is usually the most you should require.

iMRS Prime Fast Start Programs

The iMRS Prime features seven fast start programs, which are a great way to effortlessly benefit from using earth based PEMF therapy on a daily basis. Let the Prime do all the work for you by selecting the preset that best suits your needs. Choose from options including: Activation, Performance, Relax, Balance, Regeneration, and Sleep. In addition, you can now choose a completely new program that features the Solfeggio frequencies (Solfeggio Scale 9), and the well known healing frequency of 528Hz.

iMRS Prime iGUIDE

Featured within the iMRS Prime Expert model or above, is a ready made catalogue of settings for 250+ health conditions. These settings apply for all of the applicators too, so your PEMF experience really couldn’t be easier. These presets vary the application time and intensity settings for each of the PEMF applicators. The frequency is set in accordance with the time of day you use the system as follows: (Morning Frequency 5am-10am, Noon Frequency 10am- 3pm, Evening Frequency 3pm- 8pm, Night Frequency 8pm- 5am).

Whilst the iGUIDE is a fantastic addition and very easy to use, it is important to always remember that PEMF therapy doesn’t target specific conditions, it targets the cells within your body and works at a deep level to help promote healing and repair. The iGUIDE presets have been developed based on the experience of over 500,000 users with various health conditions, and the settings that have helped them to successfully support their condition.

Exagon Body Mat Settings

When you first begin using the iMRS Prime system, a great time for your first session is between 5-7pm using the ‘Evening’ frequency. This is naturally a very relaxing and restorative frequency to select as an introduction to PEMF therapy.  It is also best to start with an intensity setting of 10.

Following this, please use the information and settings below as a guide to help you get the most out of using daily low frequency and intensity PEMF therapy with the iMRS Prime.

Using the Exagon Spot Applicator

The Spot applicator is ideally suited to localised sites of pain or injury. It is especially useful for application to the peripheral joints of the upper and lower extremities, and can be wrapped around the joint for maximum healing effect. The two copper coils within the spot then combine to create a homogeneous PEMF field around the joint, with double the healing intensity.
